Morrison: One of the best poet-singers of the history

James Douglas Morrison (Jim Morrison) was a poet, singer and actor; vocalist of The Doors band. He was born in Florida in 1943; when he was a boy he used to travel so much because your father was a soldier. When he was 19 years old, he left your home and he started to study Cine in Florida University. After, when he finished the University, he decided to be focused in the poetry.

In 1965, Jim and Ray Manzarek (ex Jim’s university classmate) took Jim´s poetry for to make music; then the new band called “The Doors” was born with Jim (vocalist), Ray (pianist), Robby Krieger (guitarist), and John Densmore (baterist). In 1967 they made your first disc called “The Doors” with their first big success “Light My Fire”.

Jim suffered of BDP problem (Borderline disorder of personality), he had scenic fear and for this he used to consume drugs. In 1971, he decided to retire of the music; he traveled to Paris and he dedicated himself to make poetry. He wrote 3 books: “The Lords”, “The New Creatures”, “An American Prayer”.

The July 3, 1971; he was found dead in the bathtub of your house; according to the doctor he died for a cardiac arrest, maybe for overdose.
